My background
Jamarri Taylor is a Brooklyn-born digital artist and New York City College of Technology graduate. His passion comes from his childhood watching animated movies and playing video games where he was enamored by the 2D and 3D aspects of the visuals. This inspired his drive to major in Graphic Design with the goal of working on similar projects at a professional level.
My experience
Since 2010, Jamarri has been working on visually modifying video games with tools like, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, GIMP, 3DS Max, and Blender. Most of his weekends are spent looking for new ways to tackle projects to help the modding community better understand the mechanics of games. These prior skills aided in his development during his college courses.
My vision
His talents have led him to be awarded and recognized in his community as a leader in digital artistry and various game modding websites. In his courses, he has been able to garner experiences working within
teams to provide work for clients.
As a native New Yorker, in his spare time, Jamarri enjoys exploring the city through walking and restaurant hopping. Being a meticulous worker, Jamarri believes in diligently practicing his craft to hone his skills. What continues to drive him is his belief that every hardship is an opportunity to grow stronger.
